Devils Ridge Charity Golf Classic

This is the 22nd year the Devils Ridge Men's Golf Association has sponsored the Devils Ridge Charity Golf Classic to aid local charities.

The 2026 tournament is Wednesday, September 16th. We've joined Dementia Alliance of North Carolina in their fight against Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Since 2005, with the help of corporate and individual sponsors, the support of the Devils Ridge membership, and the players and volunteers who make the tournament possible, we have raised over $650,000 for charity. All of this money is used in North Carolina for patient and caregiver assistance, and research focused on the treatment, prevention and cure of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related diseases.

  • There are over 5.4 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease.
  • One in eight older Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s.
  • Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States, and the only cause of death among the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured, or even slowed.
  • 1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.
  • 2 of every 3 Alzheimer’s patients are women.
  • Payments for care were estimated to be $203 billion in the United States in 2013.
